Thoughtful, trauma-informed therapy for adults who want to understand themselves more deeply, and change at a pace that feels sustainable.

If you’re someone who copes well on the outside but feels overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally, this work may be a good fit. Many of the people I work with have spent years managing through self-control, overthinking, or pushing on, and are now ready for something more supportive and integrated.

I offer 1:1 therapy for adults navigating eating difficulties, neurodivergence, trauma, and the emotional impact of long-term stress or change.

Who I Work With

I work with adults who feel worn down by patterns that no longer serve them, often after years of trying to hold everything together.

This may include people who:
-
experience binge–restrict cycles, food noise, ARFID, or body image concerns
-
are neurodivergent (ADHD, autistic, or both), whether recently diagnosed or long known
-
live with the effects of trauma, emotional neglect, or chronic stress
-
struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, or a harsh inner critic
-
are navigating identity, relationship, or midlife transitions

I work in a way that is affirming of diverse gender identities, sexualities, and ways of living.

You don’t need a formal diagnosis to begin therapy. If something feels unsustainable and you’re curious about change, that’s enough.

How I Work

My approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and grounded in nervous-system safety.

I draw on evidence-based therapies including:
-
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing)
-
Compassion-focused and relational approaches

Rather than applying a fixed model, therapy is shaped collaboratively around your goals, values, and capacity. We focus on understanding why patterns developed, not just how to manage or suppress them.

Sessions are paced carefully. Some phases involve deeper processing; others allow space for integration and consolidation.

What Therapy Can Support

Clients often come to this work wanting to:
-
feel safer and more at ease in their body
-
reduce the grip of food- and control-based patterns
-
understand and support their neurodivergent nervous system
-
process past experiences without becoming overwhelmed
-
soften self-criticism and build self-trust
-
live in ways that feel more aligned and sustainable

Practical Details

Sessions are 50 minutes and offered online or in person from my Norwich (NR3) practice.
I work using a flexible, non-weekly model. Ongoing weekly slots are not always available or clinically appropriate.

Next Steps

If you’re considering working together, a Clarity Call is usually the best place to start. This gives us space to explore what you’re looking for and whether this way of working feels like a good fit.
You don’t need to rush or have everything figured out. Therapy here is about understanding, not fixing, and moving forward in a way that respects your autonomy.
